Product Care + Tips

Hat Care

Best Practices

Our felt hats are made of 100% wool felt, meaning they aren’t water resistant—so you’ll want to keep that in mind on rainy days. Store the hat in a dry, flat location, being careful not to place the brim on any objects. Use a delicate wool brush to get rid of any lint that collects.

How To Bring Your Hat Back To It's Original Form

If your brim gets bent, use steam to reshape it—hold the hat over steam, smooth the brim with your hands, and lay it on a flat surface to set. Avoid direct ironing—steam only!

Each hat includes a 14k gold-plated clip and a removable hat band, allowing for unique styling. If you remove these accessories, minor indentations may appear but can easily be smoothed out with a handheld garment steamer. Watch the video below for a step-by-step guide.

Sizing Instructions

Follow along with the video down below

01.

Measure the circumference of your head with a soft tape measure—these are often found in sewing kits.

02.

Place the tape in the middle of the forehead and wrap it completely around your head, keeping the tape 1cm above your ears on each side.

03.

Wrap it tightly enough to be comfortable, but not too tight!

04.

Our hats come with adjustable ties inside that can tighten the hat up to two sizes smaller, so you’ll want to purchase whichever size is just above the measurement you take.

05.

A good rule of thumb is to size up and then use the ties to adjust to your head.

Candle Care

How to Get The Most Out of Our Signature Candle

1. On the first burn, make sure you can be home while the candle wax melts all the way to the edge of the food-safe amber glass votive before you blow it out. This ensures an even melt pool for the rest of the candle’s life.

2. Keep the candle burning no longer than 4 hours each time you light it.

3. Trim the candle wick to ¼” before lighting each time. This helps the candle last longer.

Repurpose Your Candle to Glassware

01.

Place the candle in the freezer overnight.

02.

Take the candle from the freezer, run hot water over the remaining wax, and then loosen and remove it with a wooden utensil—wood is important because a metal utensil may crack the glass.

03.

The wick tab at the bottom may come out when you remove the wax, but if not, fill the glass with warm water and let it soak.

04.

Once the wax and wick tab are out, wash the vessel with soap and warm water.

05.

Pair with sparkling rosé, fresh berries, or milk and cookies, and celebrate your memories in the making.
